Biography
My research interests include post-structuralism, ideology, critical linguistics, political economy of news, comparative journalism, and epistemological theory.
I have published two books, Journalism and the Philosophy of Truth: Beyond Objectivity and Balance (Routledge: 2016), and The Political Economy of News in China: Manufacturing Harmony (Lexington: 2015).
I have taught and studied at universities in the USA, UK, Thailand, and China, including San Francisco State University, University of Nottingham, University of Leeds, University of Sheffield, Leeds Becket University, National Institute of Development Administration, Zhejiang Wanli University, University of Zhejiang, and United International College.
